TCIL was felicitated as Excellent Global Telecom Service Provider for the year 2018 at the 13th CMAI ICT World Communication Summit & Awards 2019. The event was held on 11th March 2019 at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi and presided over by Hon'ble Dr. Malcolm Johnson, Deputy Secretary General, International Telecom Union, Geneva.

CMD said that he was deeply honored and humbled by the recognition conferred upon him and TCIL. He thanked the nominators as well as the honorable Jury for recognizing TCIL's achievements and contributions to the Telecom Sector and for being worthy of the CMAI Excellent Global Telecom Service Provider Award. None of this would have been possible without a strong and dedicated team, he said, adding that his team at TCIL was his main strength.
